Philipino Drops - 'Tintinto'

Philipino definitely has something different from what we normally hear from our radio sets daily. Philipino says his maiden album, ?Nu Sie Wo Ode?, has already been dropped onto the market and will be showing off his lyrical acumen. "You can never do anything or achieve something without love. Love is everything, that's why I have included it in my album," Philipino said.

A few years ago, Philipino made some minor headlines in school when he was the entertainment prefect at Dormaa Vocational Training Centre but is now ready to make major headlines by dropping his smash 'Tintinto'.

Before releasing this album, Philipino was simply a quiet kid who was lucky to have had his uncles as musicians and loved playing soccer a lot.

With his debut album, Philipino wants to make more noise that the album is about love, caring and 'realness' for everyone. The young rapper says his inspirers are Kojo Antwi, Bob Marley and 2 Pac.

His long-awaited album comprises of highlife, hiplife, hiphop and dancehall songs. He said the album would feature just about all the hot artistes in the game such as Scooby Selah, Vic, Nana Ama and Ama Ba.

Musically the 13 track album will display Philipino's unique style, which he has merged variety of genres.

The versatile rapper?s name means 'Philip I know?. Though the album's promotional track is 'Tintinto', at the moment, Philipino says there are other good songs like ?Na Se Wo Odoa' and 'Buffalo Soldier'.

Gradually his popularity will explode on the Ghanaian music scene.
