Paul of Mentor III in search of a producer

Paul Odei, the second runner-up in the just ended entertaining TV reality show, TV3 Mentor, has disclosed his search for a producer in an interview with Showghana.com. He revealed he has quite a number of songs he has been working on and will need a producer to bring him to the limelight.

To Paul, being part of the mentor III reality show was not by chance but by hard work. He was part of the over 2000 people who auditioned for the Mentor II and was not successful.

But as the saying goes winners never quit and quitters never win. He again joined the audition train from Accra to Kumasi and Koforidua where he was finally chosen as a contestant of the show and to him being among the final four is a feather in his cap and a great honour to his family at large.

Paul is a 22 year-old young chap who attended Datus Preparatory School and later to Ghana National college for his secondary school education. Currently, he has been offered admission to the nation’s premier university, the University of Ghana, Legon.

Aside becoming a full music star he also wants to go into banking and finance.

On the challenges he faced while in the Mentor house, he said, “the only challenge I went through was the strange songs I had not heard before but had to learn and be familiar with the lyrics on Monday after the Sunday performance and perfectly rehearse them on Tuesday.

I also faced the challenge of how to live with different people from all walks of life and stuff like that.”

On his family background, he has two elder sisters and a brother; together with his surviving mother they are five in number. At his leisure time he likes playing video games, listening to music and also likes playing basketball. For his favourite designers’ wear he prefers Giorgio Armani. His ideal future wife should be well behaved, smart, pretty, good looking, intelligent and above all poised. Samini is his role model and mentor.

On what he has for his fans he said, “they should expect something big from me, and I want to thank Tigo for making the programme a reality and Vita Milk, Westec Security, Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm, Voltic Mineral Water and all sponsors.”
