UrbanLife singer/songwriter Chemphe is set to introduce clubbers in the Tema-Sakumono area to his brand of music. Starting Saturday September 23, Chemphe will perform at Syscue, a trendy club venue in Tema Community 9.

The following week, you can catch Chemphe doing his UrbanLife thing at Club Faliesa in Tema Community 7 as well as Fridays in Sakumono.

After performing two months ago to a very enthusiastic crowd in Lome, Togo, Chemphe has kept himself busy with media interviews and studio work on an anti-domestic violence single which he wrote called ?Why You Dey Treat Am Bad?.

He believes now is the time to start working the club scene as he looks forward to the releases of his debut album and single.

Chemphe?s UrbanLife music is a blend of R&B vocals and African grooves. Tracks from his new album that are enjoying radio airplay include ?Yaa Mansa? and ?Menka?. The singer/songwriter?s debut album ?No Pampanaa? on the Flava Records label is available in Ghana and worldwide in October 2006. His single ?Why You Dey Treat Am Bad? is scheduled for release on November 25, International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women.
