OB Dennio hails Mahama on ‘Kung Fu Shifu’

Ahead of the 2024 general elections in Ghana, musician OB Dennio has released a song titled "Kung Fu Shifu" to extol the achievements of John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The song highlights Mahama's notable projects during his presidency, such as the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange, Kasoa Interchange, and Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport, as well as various educational initiatives.

Dennio's song serves as a campaign anthem, rallying support for Mahama's bid for a second term in office.

John Mahama, a seasoned politician with a background as Vice President and President of Ghana, aims to secure a return to the presidency.

He previously held roles as a Member of Parliament and Minister of Communications. His running mate for the 2024 elections is Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

In contrast, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is vying to maintain power, with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as its flagbearer. However, the NPP has yet to announce its choice for running mate.

The stage is set for a competitive electoral contest come December 7, 2024.
