Naana Frimpong Explodes

Referred to by the media variously as 'Classic Songstress..., First Lady of Gospel, Angelic Voice', Naana Frimpong is disposed towards inspirational and worship and her lifting voice cuddies the most convinced unbeliever into glowing with faith.

Her first album refined the boundaries of gospel music in Ghana with compelling songs like 'Odo Pa' and title track 'He's wonderful'. An authoritative and inspired voice of God in our time, Naana is a household name in her country, Ghana.

She has been featured in all major radio, TV and print reviews including the UK's Ghana Review Magazine. Her exceptionally classic video 'Odo Pa' was produced by and featured on M-Net.

'Adom' (Grace), is her latest, most inspiring and arguably best album so far. Recorded in Ghana at Aquai Tone Studios and mastered at Sound Recording Technology (SRT) in Cambridge, UK, this new album has been professional executed through with live horns (sax, trumpet etc), guitars, keyboards, congas, dondos, jembes and features seasoned professional musicians.

The album was arranged and produced by a musical genius Carlos Sakyi, who is also Naana's co-songwriter and manager.

The album is released by Galazee. Executive producers are Kofi Oppon, based in the UK and Carlos Sakyi. Distribution is being done by Galaxee Ghana, Galaxee UK and Big Ben.

The eight-track album has 'Adom' (title track), 'Christo Mogya', 'Onyame Honhom Kronkron' and 'Onyame Kae Me'. The rest are 'Oye Onyame', immortal invisible, 'Tis So Sweet' and 'Kyere Mekwan'

The music and lyrics are by C. Sakyi and N. Frimpong except tracks 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 which adapted. Spectators Arts will be reviewing the tracks.
