MUSIGA Ready To Celebrate Ghana @50

The National executive comittee of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has announced the union was working tirelessly to stage live musical concerts in all the ten regions of Ghana to mark Ghana?s 50 Independence celebration next year.

The concerts would feature every Ghanaian musician living in and outside the country, as well as certain selected cultural groups in the country.

According to the union, its members have started rehearsing toward the impending concerts to mark Ghana?s 50th Independence Anniversary celebration.

It said, in addition to the live musical concerts in the regions, the union was compiling Ghanaian highlife songs from 1957 to date, for public consumption.

The union would also, compose patriotic songs for the celebration to promote Ghanaian culture among the people, as well as tourists who would visit the country to celebrate the occasion with Ghanaians.

Currently, the union is appealing to all Ghanaian musicians to come together and work as a team, to make the planned concerts very successful.
