K-Bee Productions & musicians to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS on World AIDS Day

Using music as a tool to create awareness about HIV/AIDS is a good channel K-Bee Productions, an event management and Consultancy company is using. K-Bee Productions has announced on Saturday that it’s much talked about “AIDS Awareness Float & Beach Jam” will come on November 30th and December 1st.

The ambassadors for the program are Sidney, Obrafour and King Ayisoba. They would be supported by Kwaw Kese, Tinny, Akatakyie, OD4, 2 Toff, Bandana, Backbone, Kwabena Kwabena, Kofi B, Grace Ashy, Shasha Marley and many more.

The three-day-long program has been designed to address issues of the stigma and closed mindsets that surround today’s youth, especially with regard to HIV/AIDS.

Daniel Kuwornu aka Akonoba, CEO of K-Bee Productions, explains the reason why his company has taken up this project. “We want to use music as an instrument to spread the message of AIDS awareness”, he said.

The primary objective of the musicians is to making people realize that the power to beat the pandemic lies in their own hands.

Akonoba says nearly 50 musicians will be present on the D-day. The float will be held through some major streets of Accra on Friday, November 30, whiles the Beach Jam is programmed to take place at the La Pleasure Beach on Saturday, December 1, 2007

The beach jam is expected to draw a crowd of over 50,000 people, which will be held to mark World Aids Day under the theme “Stop AIDS, Keep the Promise”.
