Jerry Justice - "I Am Not Ready For Any Lady Now"

The migration of radio presenters from one station to the other is nothing new in the radio business. The stations outside the capital rather suffer in this process

The chieftains poach them with huge sums of money after they have been trained by their respective stations. Today?s edition of who is on radio features Jerry Justice, the young and energetic presenter on Adom 106.3 FM in Tema.

Jerry Justice, an old student of St. Paul?s Secondary School in Kwahu Asakraka explained his landing into radio presenting as a coincidence. According to him, he wanted to be a professional plumber and also to practice it outside Ghana. To fulfill this dream he attended Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC) but along the line he left there because there was no plumbing course in that institution. He travelled back to the Eastern Region and was enrolled at Abetifi Vocational Training Institute but whilst in school the man who was trying to help died and every body left.

For a music lover, all was not lost for him and fortunately he met Azigiza Junior who discovered the radio talent in him after a short training he was sought in the job market. He started from Life FM at Nkawkaw hosting the mid-morning show. And after sometime he switched to Obuoba FM and hosted their drive time. Jerry Justice decided to do away with radio and travel due to this he resigned from Obuoba FM.

A very good friend of him advised him to stay in Ghana and forget about the traveling and concentrate on his radio presenting profession. He again introduced Jerry to the then General Manager of Adom FM and after a brief interview he was referred to the Programs manager - Daddy Bosco.

A program was arranged for him and he did it very well and that got him the job. Currently, one of the hot men at Adom FM, Jerry hosts the ?After drive? between the hours of 7 and 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, the reigning chart show, Adom top 40 on Saturdays 11a.m. to 2p.m. ?Kasa wo tri ho? on every Wednesday afternoon and acts as an associate producer for ?Efie Kwanso?.

The young man, aside radio presenting, is an industrious business man who deals in general merchants. He also has plans of traveling in the future to further his education and this time not in radio broadcasting. He is a song writer and also the main brain behind some of the songs on air now. He is still single and not ready to date a lady now due to a broken heart experience he had some years ago.
