Iso gives back to society

Iso PaelayIf you are the type of person who judges people by what you see, then you are in for a real surprise. He started with TV3 ten (10) years ago, he has gone through both smooth and rough moments to make his mark on the entertainment scene and project the stations image in a good light.

Coming to Ghana from Guinea, he attended N.C.R, G.B.C Training School and did some short courses, which gained him employment at TV3.

The Liberian/Sierra Leonean born TV personality Iso Paelay is at present the C.C.G Manager (Content Creation Group) at TV3 in charge of entertainment. Having gone through the ranks to his present position, Iso believes that every successful person in life has a story to tell and his story is of perseverance and hardwork, which is always crowned with success.

The Ice Man of Ghana’s entertainment ‘hammers’ his point on success by saying, “failure becomes a process that leads to success”. That is to say, “anytime you fall, you wake up and continue with the journey”.

He loves the country Ghana so much that he considers it as home. This buttresses the reason why he has adopted Agbozome in the Volta Region as his hometown. He also has an adopted family who is very wonderful to him and shows him all the care he has ever wanted.

Iso Paelay, one of the big names in the entertainment industry admits that entertainment is his life. He said, “Entertainment is my life. I do it not for the benefits that come with it but the passion I have for it keeps me moving on”.

Even though Iso proclaims entertainment as being his life, he is into other ventures to help humanity and to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged. He runs an N.G.O named ESFon (Easy Scholarship Foundation). This NGO basically seeks to pay the school fees of needy children.

The NGO, which has been in existence for over two (2) years, is not the only venture to his credit; also, he has a vocational training institute at the Budumburam camp that trains the youth in technical and vocational skills.

Five (5) years from now, Iso envisions the Ghanaian entertainment industry will grow stronger and do things the right way. He says there is still more room for the industry to occupy because those who built the foundation are still around.

Mr. Pealay admires Komla Dumor, Kofi 1,2,3,4 and Larry King; for their level of intelligence and the passion with which they do their respective jobs. These same qualities for which he admires the aforementioned people are what he possesses.

To the youth of Ghana, the rather religious and philosophical Ice Man says, “you reap what you sow. Life is not an instant coffee or tea. No sweat, no blood, no tear. You have to go through the storm and the rain to make it. By so doing, you will find inner peace and you will be honest with yourself and those around you. AIDS is real; prevention must be preached,” he urged.
