I look up to EL, Sarkodie, Samini and Ayigbe Edem – Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy in an interview with KSM on Metro TV after he won this year’s Artiste of the Year award said that Samini, Sarkodie, El, Ayigbe Edem are the people he cannot stop talking about so far as his music is concerned.

“I cannot stop talking about EL, Sarkodie, Samini and Ayigbe Edem, these are people I use or I see as yard sticks in the music industry and I always want to learn from them. I do not want to copy what someone else is doing but I love to learn, my manager will tell you that, I cannot stop talking about these four,” he said.

About his wining the Artiste of the year at this year’s Vodafone Music Awards, he said; “I cannot even feel I have won any award and it only shows that, there is room for improvement, there is more study to be done. Due to this, I don’t have the time to look at who I want to rise more than.”

He said this while discussing issues related to rivalry and beef in Ghana’s music industry.
