Award winning hiplife artistes, Castro and K. K. Fosu have lined themselves up for tongue lashing by some industry players for failing to return to Ghana after giving a show in the US, even though their American visas have expired.

P&P learnt that the two musicians traveled to the United States to perform in the company of other artistes but have failed to return.

The two, P&P gathered decided to stay for a couple of days after their performance, but eventually overstaying their visas and causing some ripples among industry players who claim the behaviour of the two singers could make getting visas for music artistes in future difficult.

In several interviews with big shots of showbiz in Ghana, they expressed disgust at the attitudes of the two-hiplife stars.

According to them, the two over staying their visas could give the industry a bad name, which could also provoke the American Embassy to either refuse or delay musicians unnecessarily when they go for visas.

The concerned industry players mentioned that musicians have already incurred the displeasure of some European countries with this attitude, hence sending artistes to Europe to perform is increasingly becoming very difficult.

They cited what Antwi Ne Antwi suffered at the hands of the European Embassies as an example, when only one of the singers was granted a visa to go and perform in Europe.

"This is an attitude that the industry can do without. We are still building this industry and we need to get the goodwill of the Embassies to make traveling easier for the musicians".

According to them, musicians who travel abroad need to build trust with the embassies, which included not staying beyond the days stipulated on the visa.

P&P tried to get in touch with the producers of Castro and K.K. Fosu to get their reaction about the concerns being raised against the two but to no avail.
