Ghanaian Music Is Not Doing Well In America - Dickie D

Dickie D has a serious issue to discuss in connection with Ghanaian music in the States. “Ghanaian music in the States ain’t doing well. You only hear Ghanaian music when Ghanaian communities gather for an occasion. Songs of Ghanaian musician should be played on radio and nite clubs”, Dickie D said.

Dickie D who was on vacation in Ghana to purposely promote his first album is now back in the States.

On Dickie D's new album, ‘Gye Mawu’, (which is his way of saying unless he dies before he’s gonna quit music) is something else.

He is a new artiste. This is his debut reggae album which talks about the problems and misfortunes he had to face before coming out.

“I was in a group called Atiasefor. It wasn’t easy at all. The group finally gave up but I never gave up and decided to go solo.

Almost all songs on his eleven-track album is good for all occasions and promises to make some difference in the music industry when promotions of the album starts soon.
