Elder Hansen Releases New Album

The name, Elder Frimpong Hansen, a.k.a. ‘Man’ may sound new in the ears of music lovers in the country, but in actual fact, it is not so is that face.

This is because Frimpong Hansen, who until recently was known as Elder Frimpong Hansen, announced his presence with the release of his debut album some six years. Unfortunately, however, Elder Hansen’s debut album could not see the light of the day due to inadequate publicity.

Three years ago, he released another album, which he called ‘Yesre Wadom’, which was distributed by Easy Way Music Production at Kantamanto in Accra.

Again, he was disappointed when the distributor failed to do his work effectively. However, with the release of the new album, ‘Me Rengyae Wo’, which is a combination of both praise and worships songs, the types popularly referred to as ”Pentecostal Praise” has all it takes to make a good hit on the local music landscape.

The rhythm, instrumental lyrical arrangements and the style of presentation of songs on the album were excellent, especially the title track.

With the release of, Frimpong Hansen is likely to catapult himself into the brackets of the heavyweights in the gospel music arena, where he could easily pass for a star in the field of music.

The only panacea for good music such as ‘Me Rengyae Wo’ to make it big is serious promotion and we hope Frimpong Hansen would do so to realize his dreams of becoming a known musician in the country.
