Dancehall, other genres made in Ghana are 'useless' to Europeans - Bisa K'Dei

Among all the music genres (Hip Life, Hip Hop, Dancehall, RnB, Reggae, etc), High Life genre happens to be Ghana’s indigenous music.

Ghanaians gave birth to High Life genre, therefore, artistes who do High Life are well respected because they seek to continue am aspect of Ghana’s material culture.

As a result, Bisa Kdei, a renowned contemporary High Life artiste has stated categorically that Ghanaian musicians who’re doing other genres of music aside High Life are not recognized in the outside world.

He made this assertion in and interview with QuooFante, host of ‘AroundTown Entertainment’ on Kessben TV in Kumasi. Perhaps Bisa Kdei line of reasoning is synonyms to the veteran musician.
