DJ Abio before and after

Gyedu Blay Ambulley was not wrong after all when he said woman “bottucks something dey there…” else who on earth could have told DJ Abio to shave his Methuselah-beard for love and he will oblige? That was exactly what happened last Saturday. You see what takes men of substance years not able to do; it took this young pretty Seediana Jehu Appiah less than 24hours to do so.

So today Nyame Stanley Simpey Abio has solemnly taken her as his wife. It was a beautiful occasion with lots to eat and drink. The occasion was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life, presenters, musicians, pastors, actors and actresses were there to share the great event with their pals.

But the most surprising visitor to the event was Kwesi Aboagye of Peace Fm and the entire crew of Entertainment Review including producers Adu Twumwaa, Eugene and Arnold. How good and how blessed it was to see these brethren come together to live as one. To me it was the highest point in the lives of the two. Despite the goodies the event nearly flopped the. There were not enough chairs for the numerous visitors who trooped to the “un-spacious” house to sit.

At a point in time people have to stand and drink while the media men and women were seen in groups chatting as though it was a press interaction a very low side of otherwise a nice coated program, no wonder a lot of people left before “abenkyi” was served.

Notwithstanding, the drinks, foods and the music plus trimming of Abio’s beard was classic. So folks I saw Abio did you? Next time he may be the one tapping but you might not recognize him especially “ex-comcub”…
