Celebrating Obour Now On Video

The bond between Obuor and Family Tree Entertainment seems to be growing tighter with time and this is reflected in the latter?s commitment to every project and event held in honour of the sensational hiplife icon. They are out with yet another innovation for him.

After faithfully supporting Obuor through his on going road safety campaign project and the holding of the grand Celebrating 10 years of hiplife music and Obuor at the International Conference Centre last year, the young but fast-growing production company is now out with a recorded and edited musical video on live performances of last year?s Celebrating Obuor event is out on the music market.

According to Family Tree, this music video is the first of its kind in the music industry because it is an edited version of last year?s programme featuring live performances of all the genres of Ghanaian music by award winning artistes on one stage.

The company?s spokesman also said that all the artistes were contacted and briefed about this innovation before it took off early this year.

The music video, which is out on VCDs and DVDs, takes us on a journey from the entry of Obuor into the Conference Centre amidst a warm welcome by a cheering crowd at the forecourt of the Hall through the events happening at the back stage before the main event to the auditorium where the whole action took place.

The live music performances by artistes like Nobel Nketsiah, Christiana Love, Wutah, Praye, Castro, Batman, K.K. Fosu, Nana Little, Nana Fynn among others were well arranged and the loud response from the audience made the clip look natural and exciting to watch.

The sound quality and pictures are very clear but the lighting effects are not bright enough to make you see the images well.

Obuor?s performance with a live band was very good even on a recorded video clip giving viewers the opportunity to catch the action just as it happened at the Conference Centre.

Viewers are bound to discover the evidence of Obuor?s versatility in singing and in terms of stagecraft.

Family Tree Entertainment is a young music production company but has been able to successfully undertake a number of projects in collaboration with their artistes.

Apart from Obuor?s road safety campaign, the company has also been behind Nobel Nketsiah?s ?Thousand kids off the street? project meant to raise funds in aid of street children.

They have also been sponsoring TV3?s talent hunt programme called The Mentor with a free recording deal for the prospective winner.

The Celebrating Obuor live VCDs and DVDs were launched at Nkawkaw during the Easter Festival this year and acoording to the Public Relations Officer of Family Tree, Stephen Howard, proceeds made from that launch were used to buy a Television set for Radio Universe at Legon.
