Gospel Explosion, the music wing of the Christian Fellowship (IHCF) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has launched its fifth album, dubbed 'Yi N'aye' (Praise Him) at ceremony of the Covenant Family Community Church (CFCC) in Accra.

The twelve-track album spots songs like 'I'm Not Leaving Here', 'Lord I Lift Your Name', 'Mennsuro', a remix of 'Adom' and 'Yente Ase'.

The album had earlier on been launched in Kumasi on February 11, 2006, and will again be launched at the Help Fire Chapel, Takoradi on Sunday, February 26.

The vision of Gospel Explo' is to minister the word of God through music in order to win souls for Christ while bringing hope, joy and love to mankind.

The group also aims at training its members to excel in their respective fields of ministry as well as be of immense help to their local churches.

According to the president, Mr. Stephen Moore, the group seeks to impact positively on Christian music, uplift and encourage Christians generally.

He explained that since the launch of their famous album 'Adom' in the year 2000, it is their latest album, 'Yi N'aye' which has spiraled the popularity of the group.

Rev. Steve Wengyam of the Sakumono branch of the Assemblies of God Church, who launched the album, auctioned the first two copies for 5 million cedis each and while the third copy was sold for 2 million cedis.

In his remarks, the chairman for the occasion, Mr. Ace Annan Ankomah, encouraged the members of Gospel Explo' to continue to serving God in the days of their youth since a time will come, when in spite of their zeal, they may not be able to serve God as they would have loved to.

Guest artistes at the launch included Nii Okae of 'Moko Be' fame, Grace Obeng Darko a.k.a. Graciella, Joyful Way Incorporated and Chosen Vessels Choir of the University of Ghana, Legon.
