Bandex release Ofori Amponsah’s first highlife album

Ahmed Banda popularly known in the showbiz circles as Bandex has finally released OforiAmponsah’s “Chooboe” album today, Monday, November 16, 2015.

After days of heated argument between the music and movie producer, Bandex and management of OforiAmpponsah, the former has finally released the musician’s first album after he made a major comeback to highlife music.

Bandex, weeks after OforiAmponsah made U-turn to highlife announced that he is preparing to release the highlife album he produced for the artiste. Some four years ago, before “Otoolege” singer became a pastor; Bandex recorded an album for OforiAmponsah and Kofi Nti which never got released because Ofori had become a pastor.

Four years later, OforiAmponsah makes a big U-turn and Bandex which has made Bandex release the album recorded years ago. Days after Bandex announced the release of the album, Ofori’s management who seemed not worried about the album release dared him to go on with the release.

Before the “Chooboe” album was released onto the market today, many Ghanaians and entertainment followers who had heard a single from the album have commended OforiAmponsah for such an a good album.

The album which was a joint collaboration between MrAll4Real and Kofi Nti features other great Ghanaian musicians like UK X Factor contestant, Reggie Zippy, Kofi B, Dada KD, Appietus, renowned guitarist, AckahBlay and many others.

Some of the hit songs on the 8 track album include, MedoWiase, Asala, Chooboe, Earth Song, LovieLovie and others. Sound engineers who contributed in making the “Chooboe” album a success are Appietus, Cash 2 & Ray, BodoStaiger and Hubert.
