4×4 strikes with Hot Girls in town

Jeffery Sylvanus Dodzi, a.k.a Captain Planet and Russell Edem Avornyo a.k.a Abortion who squad up the 4×4 crew and started with their masters Buk Bak and was handed over the responsibility to structure a branch on their own in 2002 after they have featured and served Buk Bak in the ‘Sika Korkor’ album to show off their God-given talent to the whole world has come out with their latest and hottest album, ‘Hot Girls.Com.’


In an interview with Weekly Fylla, 4×4 explained that, they choose the name 4×4 because the whole crew was elevated by four minds thus Bright, Ronny, Captain Planet and Abortion.


So far, they have been able to come out with three albums and one single. Their albums, ‘sikilitele’, contestant number 1, was produced by Prince Dave Records and Agicoat Record respectively and their single, ‘tie my progress’ on Obrafour’s compilation all had grand air play nationwide.


This time round, 4×4 has taken it upon them and bears the risk by producing their new album, hot girls.com has ten tracks and other track titles like, ‘Krokrome’, ‘Live right’, ‘Tribute song to the late Prince Dave’, ‘insurance love’ and the track which before now paving its own way on the airwaves with massive airplay on radio and also was top rated among the 20 Citi hip life Countdown as 11 last weekend, ‘hot girls.com’ featuring Fresh Prince.


They titled this album hotgirls.com because they think Ghanaian ladies are hot no matter  their background and need to given the due respect from society to make them feel good but not to ill-treated and dishonoured by some men.


This album is a blend of foreign touch (hip hop style) but with a local dialect and dancehall. Speaking to Weekly Fylla, they stated that ‘we have introduced this new blend of foreign touch (hip hop style) with local dialect and dancehall to sound different, more productive and very hot also, the album is yet to be launched in some tertiary institutions like University of Ghana, Legon, Kwame Nkrumah of Science and Technology and Cape Coast University.


“We have decided to launch the album in tertiary institutions because our target audience are the youth and the best place to reach their hearts is to be at their doorsteps in their various institutes”, they said.
