1st Royal 2004 Slated for January 31

Batman expected to perform Every now and then an event (music awards) comes out worthy of the time and much money is spent on organizing it.

One of the newest to hit the scene is Royal House Entertainment?s 1st Royal Awards 2004. The hype that follows Royal House Entertainment is tremendous. I don?t think they had to work as hard as other organizers did to get to where they are and I could tell that by observing them and talking to them at a recent meeting.

The hottest event of the year is only days away from rolling into town. This event is a phenomenon unlike many others in the history of Ghana. There has been massive promotion on TV3 (official TV station for the event), Joy FM and Peace FM. The evening?s event is being hosted by Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM). Hiplife artistes with surprising acts on the bill that night include Tinny who has rampaged the hiplife game with his lyrics, VIP (a group which makes eavesdroppers rewind their cassettes and CD?s two, three or four times) and Batman (the sensational and stunning rag life dada).

For the gospel scene, artistes like Seth Frimpong (a renowned male star and the biggest ever) and Christiana Love (a soul inspiring female personality) will be present that night with their soulful voices. This memorable event is being supported by reliable companies like Unique Trust Financial Services, Graphic Showbiz, Mirror, K9 Security, and Ultimate Hotel.

The music awards has been divided into different categories namely best gospel artiste 2003, best Hiplife artiste 2003, best Royal Entertainment Newspaper 2003,  Best Event Sponsor, best Royal Mc 2003, best Film Actress 2003, best Film Actor 2003, best Football Club 2003, best Footballer of the year 2003. Other categories include best Social Commentator of Politics 2003, best Film Distributor 2003, best Royal Hotel and best Prestigious award winner 2003.

Ghana?s entertainment arena, the National Theatre in Accra, will come alive on 31st January, 2004 with this event. The programme is scheduled to start at 7pm with a rate of 200,000 cedis.

The evening promises to be an exciting one as it will not only be for honours but for praises and dancing. If you have missed out on other awards, don?t miss out on this. Be there.
