Olympics day run set for June 28

The 27th edition of the Olympic Day Run is scheduled to kick-start on June 28 at three centres in the Ashanti Region.

An official of the Mass Sports Association of Ghana told the GNA Sports that three centres in the region- - Kumasi, Mampong and Obuasi would be the venues for the event.

According to the official, 3000 participants are expected to compete in the event.

The official said the participants would be presented with International Olympic Certificates and 'T' shirts after the event.
