Olympian Owusu gets his Ph.d

MURFREESBORO ? Olympian, Andrew Owusu, received a special recognition as he received a doctorate in philosophy with a major in human performance from the Middle Tennessee State University

After the ceremony, Owusu, was headed to Athens, Greece, to compete in the triple jump.

Owusu gave up attending the opening ceremony of the Olympics so he could attend the graduation ceremony. Owusu will represent Ghana in the games.
