Inter Regional Schools & Colleges games opened

Accra, June 26, GNA 96 Papa Owusu Ankomah, Minister of Education, Science and Sports on Monday, June 26, officially opened the 2006 Edition of the Inter Regional Schools and Colleges Sports Festival currently underway in Koforidua in the Easter Region.
The competition, which commenced on Saturday July 24, will come to a close on Sunday, July 2.
A statement from the Ghana Education Service (GES) said, over 1,400 athletes and officials are expected to participate in the week long event.
