The two Ghanaian athletes; Eric Nkansah and Leo Myles-Mills who took part in the IAAF 9TH World Indoor athletics championship in Birmingham, UK (14-16 March) failed to win laurels in the championship.

Leo Myles-Mills ran in the 60 Meters Heat "6" and failed to qualify for the next round in his lane 8 as he finished in the 7TH position(Bib 189) with a time of 6.83 sec to the Brazilian Vincente Lenilson's 6.63 sec who was first.
