The world’s fastest marathon runner, Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge, is struggling to train alone during self-isolation.

The Olympic gold medalist normally trains in a team but, he shared in a video diary, he is now trying to make sure he doesn't mingle with too many people during the coronavirus pandemic.

The athlete holds the official marathon world record of 2:01:39, set in Berlin, Germany in 2018.

He is the first athlete to run a marathon in under two hours, beating the mark by 20 seconds, which is however not recognised as an official world record because it was not in open competition.
