Lupita parties in Lagos

Fans are still sending messages wishing Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o a happy birthday after she posted a video on Instagram showing her partying in Lagos, Nigeria, over the weekend.
A few days previously the Hollywood actress posted a picture of herself and acclaimed Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in matching outfits.
The two know each other because Nyong’o had previously bought the rights to dramatise Ms Ngozi Adichie's 2013 novel Americanah.
Nyong'o is playing the lead role - a Nigerian girl who keeps in touch with her Nigerian boyfriend when she moves to the US and he moves to the UK.
The dramatisation is planned to be a 10-part series on HBO.
