Three financial services firms, BlueSPACE, INETCO and Sumsub, have jointly launched an advanced artificial intelligence platform known as TrustNET, designed to enhance security, compliance, and fraud prevention for banks and financial institutions.

The platform was unveiled at an event held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.

TrustNET provides what the companies describe as a comprehensive end-to-end framework aimed at strengthening secure and compliant banking operations across the West African region.

According to the firms, the platform features a suite of next-generation capabilities designed to address the evolving regulatory and compliance demands facing financial institutions. These include automated identity verification tools for individuals and businesses, enabling streamlined Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) onboarding processes that can quickly adapt to changing regulatory requirements.

The platform integrates Sumsub’s identity verification and compliance orchestration technology with INETCO’s real-time payment fraud prevention and transaction monitoring systems, while BlueSPACE provides regional financial technology integration and expertise.

Together, the collaboration aims to deliver a modern solution capable of securing the entire digital payments ecosystem for banks and financial institutions in the region.

Speaking at the launch, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of BlueSPACE, Samuel Amanor, described the initiative as a major step forward for financial integrity in West Africa.

“This represents a pivotal moment in financial integrity in West Africa,” he said.

He added that “by combining our deep local market insights with global AI innovation from INETCO and Sumsub, we are bolstering the security and integrity of Ghana and the broader West African financial ecosystem.”

Amanor further noted that financial institutions across the region can now leverage the TrustNET platform to strengthen compliance and fraud prevention mechanisms.

He explained that banks can use the system to “satisfy stringent onboarding compliance, modernise payment fraud defence and build lasting customer trust.”

He also emphasised the platform’s broader impact on regulatory oversight and financial inclusion.

“This alliance empowers regulators and banks to fight increasingly sophisticated financial crime while fostering greater financial inclusion,” he added.

The launch event brought together senior banking leaders, chief information officers (CIOs), chief information security officers (CISOs), as well as heads of compliance and fraud risk executives, who gathered to discuss the future of AI-driven financial integrity and digital payment security in Ghana and across West Africa.
