Explosion in Al-Zawia Oil Refinery Company causes four minor injuries

Al-Zawia Oil Refinery Company confirmed that an explosion occurred on Monday morning, involving a steam boiler, directly after an attempt by engineers to ignite a stove in the boiler.

The company stated on its official Facebook page that the explosion left four individuals injured.

However, their injuries were described as minor.

It was reported that those who were injured were part of the Department of Precision Equipment Maintenance.

They were performing their duties when the explosion happened and it was further noted that there was considerable material damage at the plant.

The company added that the material damage consisted of damage to the boiler body with the integrity of all other production units surrounding it.
