Kenyan footballer Victor Wanyama has not expressed any interest in leaving Tottenham Hotspur, the Premier League side manager José Mourinho says.

This is despite the 28-year-old midfielder only playing in two matches for the north London side this season.

Wanyama’s absence has made him the subject of transfer speculation.

Spurs are hosting Liverpool, who are top of the league, on Saturday. The game kicks off at 17:30 GMT.

Mourinho, the former Manchester United and Chelsea boss who was appointed as Tottenham’s manager in November, said:
