SDTA Awards honors Sunshine Olawore as Supreme African Film Director of the Year

Sunshine Olawore is officially an honoree at the prestigious and global SDTA Awards.

At the second edition of the SDTA Awards 2022 ceremony which took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, in Accra, Ghana, Sunshine Olawore got honored with his first SDTA award.

The award-winning Nigerian talented film director was shooting a film project in Nigeria and wasn’t able to accept his award himself, however, his daughter; Love Olawore, who also won in the Supreme African Child Prodigy of the Year category, accepted her dad’s award on his behalf on stage from actress Vicky Zugah.

After bagging the award, the ecstatic film director took to Instagram to show his gratitude to his family, SDTA Awards, fans, cast, and crew.

“He sure deserves to smell his flowers and he got it, so congratulations to him!,” said Hon. Zino Lexili Ogazi, the young chairperson of SDTA Awards.

“For years now, he has consistently been a force in the film industry and deserves to be recognized for his efforts and contributions to the film industry..,” said Hon. Eric Michael Ogazi, the young vice chairman of SDTA Awards.
