Davido's "IF" is a few sales from being certified Gold in the United States.

As at this moment, 430,000 copies of the hit single has been bought in the United States.

He is 570,000 more sales from clinching Gold!

He asked fans to keep streaming his single.


The platinum certification was introduced in 1976 for the sale of one million units for albums and two million for singles, with the gold certification redefined to mean sales of 500,000 units for albums and one million for singles. No album was certified platinum prior to this year.

Nonetheless, the D&G crooner is reeling from his successes this year.

Fall recently got Gold certification in the United States and Canada.
