The International Conference of the Holders of the African Occult Knowledge has been held in Bamako, Mali.

The conference was held on Saturday, February 10, at the Bamako International Conference Center (CIBC) alongside the African Artistic and Cultural Evening on February 11, 2024, at the Centre for Culture (Palaise de la culture).

It was organized by the Pan-African Network of Mystical Science and Ancestral Heritage and was aimed at supporting efforts by transitional authorities to promote the African cultural heritage across the globe and to further promote peace and social cohesion among all people.

Participants from several African countries as well as from Europe, the USA, and Latin America attended the two-day event.

Speaking as a special guest at the conference, Paramount Chief and President of the Aflao Traditional Council, who doubles as the President of the Forum of Kings and Traditional Rulers of Africa, Torgbiga Amenya Fiti V, called on all Africans to embrace the African cultural heritage and values and to preach same to the world.

"Africa is a rich continent with lots of cultural values and heritage - we must embrace these values that define us as African people," he said.

Torgbiga Amenya Fiti V admonished the younger generation to embrace their traditions and refrain from emulating Western culture.
