Aston Villa thanks Tanzanians

English Premier League side Aston Villa has thanked Tanzanians for showing "amazing support" for their local hero Mbwana Samatta who made his debut for the club on Tuesday night.

He was substituted in the 67th minute in the Carabao Cup semi-final match against Leicester City. Aston Villa won 2-1.

Thousands of Tanzanians football fans gathered to watch the match projected in giant screens in the coastal city of Dar es Salaam.
