FA to elect vice-president on feb 21

The executive committee of the Ghana Football Association will hold elections to name the federation?s vice-president on February 21.

The 22-man body, sworn into office just before the African Cup of Nations is required by law to elect the vice-president from among them.

Members of the committee in the reckoning for the position include, George Amoako and Randy Abbey as well as Fred Crentsil.

At the meeting, the FA is also expected to review the membership of the Black Stars management committee.

The six-member committee which was put in place in 2004 has been reduced to just two members.

More numbers are expected to be added onto the committee.

Most importantly, the executive committee is expected to launch a full-scale investigation into allegations of conflict of interest brought against Ratomir Dujkovic.

The Black Stars coach is accused of asking King Faisal striker Eric Gawu t! o sign up for him to manage him before calling him up to the Black Stars.

Dujkovic is also alleged to have sent a text message to Kotoko for him to act as a player agent on behalf of the club
