Ebenezer Ofori plays first league match for AIK Stockholm on return to club

Midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has played his first league match for AIK Stockholm on his return to the club for a second spell.

The 24-year-old was handed a starting role and lasted for 70 minutes as the capital side posted a 2-0 win over Örebro on the road.

Ofori left AIK in 2016 after three successful seasons to join German side Stuttgart where he helped them to secure qualification to the Bundesliga.

The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations star had back-to-back loan spells at New York City FC before returning to Sweden.

Ofori made three appearances for AIK in the Svenska Cupen (Swedish Cup) before the coronavirus break.
