Kurt Okraku has done a good job so far, encourage him – Osei Assibey

GFA President Kurt Okraku has received a huge vote of confidence from the Secretary of SWAG to restore the lost glory of Ghana football.

At an election held some seven months ago, football administrators in the country entrusted Kurt Okraku with responsibility to wheel the sport out of the shackles of the Anas investigative expose?.

Okraku’s administration has received commendations for some innovative ideas it has executed with the #BringBackTheLove campaign being the easily referenced one.

In an interview with GhanaWeb, Osei Assibey said after carefully analysing activities of the administration for the past seven months, he is fully convinced that Ghana football is headed in the right direction.

As someone who believes in brand building, Osei Assibey is confident that Kurt Okraku and his charges will create a world class brand out of Ghana football.

“I have run through his administrative style and I am in love with him not because he’s a friend, not because he is a journalist but because he believes in what I believe in. I believe in brand building, quality and effectiveness and I think Kurt is doing same. He is not there yet but I see him doing a lot of good things,” he said.

He urged support for the administration and encouraged Ghanaians to focus on the strides being made.

“We just have to wish him well. Sometimes you don’t necessarily have to look for the negatives. See if the negatives surpass the positives then you encourage the person. But frankly speaking, I haven’t seen any major setback. I feel that he is doing the right thing and must be encouraged.
