Kuffour in Roma row

Reports claim Samuel Kuffour could leave Roma in the summer after just 12 months with the Serie A club.

The former Bayern Munich ace is believed to have fallen out with the management at the Stadio Olympico and there are claims that the Rome outfit could look to cash in on the Ghanaian international.

The dispute between the hierarchy and Kuffour came after the defender was refused permission to play for his country earlier this season when he wanted to feature.

Kuffour picked up a thigh injury soon after and has not played since leading to the rumours of a fall out with coach Luciano Spalletti.

Their relationship is likely to only get worse, with the centre-back set to be missing for a month having been selected in Ghana's 23-man squad for next month's African Nations Cup.
