Palmer rejects nomination to serve on 5-member DOL committee

The Ghana Football Association has declared its intention to restructure the 48-club Division One League to an 18-club league.

The FA has announced a five-member committee composed of three club members and two from the association will advise the GFA on the way forward with the proposed project.

According to reports reaching FootballGhana, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer was nominated to represent Zone Three but rejected the role however Bofoakwa Tano General Manager David Obeng Nyarko was nominated by the clubs in Zone One while Jojo Duncan was chosen by clubs in Zone Two leaving Zone Three pending as at the moment.

With Palmer's decision to reject the job, Zone Three will have to come out with a new candidate, or try to convince the former chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee to change his mind.
