Former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong says he dreams of making a return to the Ghanaian giants not as a player but a coach after declaring his unending love for the club.

Frimpong spent eight seasons with Asante Kotoko after he joined from BA United in July 2011.

The 28-year-old left the club for a stint with Guinean giants AS Kaloum Star in 2008 following the expiration of his contract.

“My love for Kotoko is beyond measure, and I dream to return to the team, but this time not as a player rather as a Management member, or any other official role after retirement, he said.

“I will quit football as a footballer. However, with its kith and kin, whatever it is that I have to do to upgrade myself to work for Kotoko, I will do” he added.

Frimpong had an outstanding spell at Asante Kotoko as he won two Ghana Premier League titles and two FA Cup trophies.
