There will be lots at stake when league leaders Aduana Stars travel to Cape Coast to play bottom dwellers Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Aduana Stars head into the Match Week 8 game, following an important slim margin victory against title rivals Medeama SC at Dormaa on Sunday.

The club’s top marksman and the league’s leading scorer, Yayaha Mohammed netted to give the 2 time champions the maximum points. That was his 7th goal of the season; strangely all his goals have come at home.

Outside Dormaa, Yahaya Mohammed is yet to visit the opponent’s net with the ball and will be eager to get off the ground with scoring away goals.

Aduana Stars so far have had a very good season; they sit top of the standings with an impressive record of 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the 7 games played so far.

The story however looks entirely the opposite for Ebusua Dwarfs. The league’s last placed team has won just one in the seven games played this season; losing the other 6 (the most by any other team).

The Cape Coast based side has already changed coaches this season with Ernest Quartey Thomspon taking over from Raymond Assibu.

They lost their last game to AshantiGold SC at Obuasi and will aim at getting something from this game.
