2019/20 GPL: Week 1 match preview- Liberty Professionals v Wa All Stars

Liberty Professionals will welcome Wa All Stars to the Karl Reindolf Sports Stadium in this match day one fixture of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

The scientific soccer lads will be seeking for a good start to the campaign with a win against the 2016 Ghana Premier League Champions.

This will also be the first game for new coach Robert Ocloo who was appointed just some few days to the start of the league.

Liberty Professionals with a youthful and experienced side can cause havoc against Wa All Stars who look to reclaim past glory under new owners.

Meanwhile Wa All Stars can ride on their past glory and aim to pick a good start under the new owners.

All Stars recently appointed Bosnia-German coach Goran Barjaktarevic to Head the technical team.

This will be team’s first competitive fixture since 2018 after the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League was abrogated.

All Stars failed to participate in both Tier I and II of the Special Competition.

It will be a tricky encounter between both sides.
