Gor Mahia forward Francis Afriyie vows to score against FC Leopards

In-form Ghana international Francis Afriyie has vowed to bang in the goals for Gor Mahia when they take on their sworn rival FC Leopards in the Kenyan Premier League on Sunday.

The Kenyan based striker has been in blistering form for his side and is hoping to add more goals to his name when they take on FC Leopards.

Gor Mahia despite having two outstanding games lead the table with 15 points with their arch-rivals trailing them with just a point.

Speaking ahead of the weekend fixture, Afriyie sounded a strong warning to Gor Mahia's opponent FC Leopards, stating that they should be wary of his treat at goal.

Afriyie is expected to lead the attack for Steve Polak's side on Sunday and has promised the fans on scoring this weekend.

"Francis Afriyie has no pressure because the fans know what I'm capable of doing. The fans should expect goals from me. Gor Mahia will win on Sunday but trust me, I am the one going to score for the team" he told Bryt FM.

The former Bechem United forward has scored three goals in three games for his side in the Kenyan Premier League.
