Gyan To Sign New Deal

Ghanaian defender Christian Gyan is expected to sign a new deal with Feyenoord in the near future.

The 26-year-old's contract is due to expire in the summer and there had been doubts over his future as he has hardly figured this term due to a knee injury.

However, Ruud Gullit believes the full back has a future at the club and talks have taken place with Gyan's agent.

A two-year deal is on the table and the signs are suggesting a new contract will be inked before the end of the season.

Reports in the Dutch media are suggesting Gullit will look to send Gyan out on loan at the start of next term in a bid to improve his match sharpness.
