Former Asante Kotoko Captain Amos Frimpong has advised his former teammates to be wary of the Kano Pillars threat ahead of their CAF Champions League second leg encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

According to the Kaloum Stars Players, Kotoko have gone through similar situation by getting a good away results in CAF club competition but they sometimes fail to capitalise on that to book their qualification when they play at home.

“After the game I talked to captain Felix Annan that even though they had done well on the day but he himself can bear witness to the fact that the club have gone through a situation like that before when we are able to get a good results away from home but find it difficult to get the needed results at our home grounds.”

“So I beg him to share that experience with the new players for them to do away with complacency after getting a good away results, so they can go all out to book their qualification on Sunday,” he told Kumasi based Nhyira FM.

The Porcupines will play the second leg of their CAF Champions League qualification with Kano Pillars after losing the first leg 3-2 at the Saani Abachi sports stadium in Nigeria.
