Following the 0-0 stalemate with the Black Stars of Ghana, head coach of the Indomitable Lions, Clarence Seedorf has revealed respecting Ghana.

The Black Stars played what could be described as the best game of the tournament with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a game that failed to produce any goal.

With the two sides failing to find the back of the net and showing a lot of respect to each other, Seedorf admits Cameroon had to show Ghana much respect because they have quality.

“We’re not overly cautious but we needed to respect Ghana because they have quality.

“We did a very good job in our defensive organisation and that’s great but in the end I didn’t like a few of the things we did by giving the balls to Ghana easily.

“But in all, we did a good job,” Seedorf told the media after the game with Ghana.

Cameroon are currently on top of the table with 4 points followed by Benin and Ghana with Guinea-Bissau at the bottom.
