Muntari adjudged man of the match as Duhail SC beat Al Sailiya 3-0

Ghanaian International Mohammed Muntari was adjudged the man of the match following his 5-star performance that helped his side, Duhail SC to beat Al Sailiya on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Facing off in the Emir Cup final in Qatar, it was Muntari’s side that carried the day by beating their opponents 3-0.

The Kumasi-born Qatar international contributed immensely to his side’s triumph by netting a brace. Fellow team mate Paulo Dasilve Edmilson compounded the win for the side with the 3rd goal.

After the match, the two goal hero striker was name man of the match for his fine showing and goals scored on the day.

Al Duhail will now face Al Sadd in the final after they beat Al Rayyan 2-0. The final showdown will come off on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Ahead of the match, Al Sadd who is the most successful side as far as the Emir Cup is concerned are favorites to win the trophy.

Meanwhile with Muntari now with Al Duhail, the bookmakers are tipping them to fight until the end of the 90 minutes.
