Kassim Nuhu is confident of making it into Kwesi Appiah’s final 23-man squad for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The 24-year-old defender has been a key figure for German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim since joining last year from Swiss giants Young Boys.

Speaking in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com on his chances of making Ghana’s final squad, Nuhu said;

“Black Stars is not a permanent place for any footballer but I’m playing regularly for my club so I’m confident I will be part of the team to represent Ghana in the tournament”

“My only prayer is to stay fit, it will be honor for me and my family”

Nuhu has netted once in three games for the West Africa powerhouse.

He has registered one assist in 13 matches in all competitions for his club side despite missing some games during the first half of the season through injury.
