Isaac Cofie reveals he's happy at Sporting Gijon after commanding starting berth

Midfielder Isaac Cofie has revealed he is happy at Spanish second-tier side Sporting Gijon.

The 27-year-old has worked his way back into the starting line-up and has become a mainstay.

Cofie had a slow start and had his future speculation but stayed on to fight for starting berth.

"I'm happy, I finally started playing again after a long time and we also started winning in the league and I'm naturally very happy for the situation we're experiencing," Cofie told Juvenews.

Cofie has scored one goal in 17 league appearances in the Segunda Division.

Sporting Gijon are 11th on the league table after 30 matches.
