Assistant coach of the Black Stars Ibrahim Tanko, who doubles up as head coach of the Black Meteors is being faced with a dilemma as both teams play crucial AFCON qualifiers on March 23rd.

The senior team, the Black Stars will host Kenya in the final AFCON 2019 qualifier with a place at the top of the table at stake.

The Black Meteors will also face Gabon in the first leg of the final round of qualifiers for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations next year.

Both games will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium, however, Coach Ibrahim Tanko is yet to decide which team he leads to the pitch on the day.

Meanwhile, followers of the Black Meteors are worried the former Dortmund forward will be troubled by divided attention ahead of the game against the Panthers of Gabon.

Even though, the Black Stars have qualified for AFCON 2019, the team is seeking revenge against Kenya and are also eyeing a place at the top of the table.

With Maxwell Konadu fired as second assistant coach of the Black Stars, it leaves coach Ibrahim Tanko with a hard decision to make.

The Black Meteors will play Gabon earlier at 3:00 pm with the Black Stars playing Kenya at 6:00 pm.
