Ghana tennis rules West Africa

The U-12 girls won Silver medal and the U-12 boys won Gold medal The U-12 girls won Silver medal and the U-12 boys won Gold medal

Ghana Tennis U-12 boys and girls teams showed their prowess in the just ended ITF/CAT West Africa and Central Africa Junior Championship hosted by Benin from 4th, March to 10th, March 2019.

The U-12 girls won Silver medal and the U-12 boys won Gold medal. The U-12 boys went into the championship as defending champions after winning the last two editions. Their win on Sunday makes it three successive triumph.

Team Ghana will represent West and Central Africa in the upcoming U-12 Africa Junior Championship in last quarter of 2019.

President of Ghana Tennis Federation, Mr. Isaac Aboagye Duah was elated about the feet choked by Team Ghana,

“Our girls did well, their performance is the best in the last 5 years and the board of Ghana Tennis Federation is happy with the performance of our team.”

Our junior Golden Stars who made us proud were Repheal Dowuona, Joseph Doe-Adjani, Aaron Amarh, Tracy Ampah, Sisu Tormegah and
Shika Mckorley. Team Ghana was led by Head Coach Noah Bagerbaseh with assistance from Coach Richard Ayi Dartey.

Mrs. Abigail Mckorley who was honored by the Ghana Tennis Federation in December for her contribution to the development of Tennis in Ghana and Mrs. Tormegah were also with the team through out the tournament encouraging our girls to put out their best.
